6 ingredients for a green, clean home

Sure, it’s great to find that one magical product that solves a very specific household problem. (The Gonzo Pet Hair Lifter a multiple-cat-owning friend received as a Christmas gift truly has no equal.) But the truth is, you need little more than the following six ingredients—baking soda, borax, lemon juice, salt, olive oil and white vinegar—to clean just about anything in your home (pet hair excluded).

Here are just a few of the many uses for these, well, magical multi-taskers:

1. Baking soda: Acts as a scrub to remove hard water stains; polishes metal; deodorizes pretty much anything it touches (try stashing some in the fridge).

2. Borax: Mixed with three parts water, it makes a paste for cleaning carpet stains; mixed with ¼ part lemon juice, it cleans stainless steel and porcelain. (Note: although borax is a natural substance, you still shouldn’t eat it—and neither should your kids or pets.)

3. Lemon: Deodorizes and cuts grease on counter tops; rubbed on cutting boards, it bleaches stains and disinfects; combined with baking soda, it removes stains from plastic food storage containers.

4. Salt: Another natural scrubber—sprinkle it on cookware or oven surfaces, then rub; add citrus juice to turn it into an effective rust remover.

5. White vinegar: Deodorizes and disinfects; combine with water (and a little liquid soap—I know, it feels like cheating) to clean windows,
mirrors, and floors; use at full strength in a spray bottle to fight mold and mildew.

6. Olive Oil: Mix two parts oil with one part lemon juice and use as a natural wood polish. (Save the really good stuff for dinner.)One added bonus of using natural cleaners: as part of your
spring cleaning regimen, you can now clear out all those bottles of specialized (and possibly toxic) potions.

A dedication to the King of Pop of all times ~ Michael Jackson

I still remember when I was little (if not mistaken I was 5 yrs old at that time), I was such energetic and active child (according to my mom) that my mom have to sat me down in front of TV so that I won't be disturbing her doing her house chores. One afternoon while watching the TV, I came across this singer black, long curly hair with a shining bright eyes singing "Beat it" song, dancing so passionately with such enthusiasm.... I remember that my eyes just can't keep out watching at this man singing and his every moves... he was so fantastic!!! His presence on the TV that day still lingers in my memory until now.

It was very sad to know someone so famous and talented, has been reported with all sort of news on his weird behaviour towards young boys and his plastic surgery problem... when you looked back at his life, you slowly will understand why he developed such a behaviour. Someone who has been in the limelight ever since he is 5 yrs old under the guidance of a "womaniser" father who never care for his child welfare... i wonder who will gorw up normally???

I feel sorry and at the same time pity for Michael Jackson... he is such a wonderful & talented soul but with such unhealthy family unbrining. He must have gone through hell while growing up. With his career picking up during his childhood years and he have to spend a lot of hours entertaining (i.e. working) his fans. When does he get time for himself or his family??? Even his father was his manager but I can feel that he himself couldn't get the support he need from his nearest and dearest family when he was young. To me, I believe what you've become today is all because of your past... how your parents have brought you up. Evidently, those abusive parents will eventually have a violence child or someone who kills without remorse, a whelthy parents whose father never spend time with his children will eventually become a spoilt brat or a child whos is lack of self esteem; and so on.....

Where is his childhood like other children at his age??? When we were happily playing at the park with our peers / family and he was busy with his working schedule dealing with all the adults. I can see that he is a very capable child and he started earning his big bugs at a very young age for his family but where is his happiness while he brings happiness to other ppl??? This is where he feels he has missed out nor any childhood memory of. That's why he has become what ppl as called him "weird".

I just hope that people will give him another chance to get back his normal life and let him be who he wanted to be. I also have a wish that if possible, we could all donate some money to him so that he could get back a normal skin/noce or at least healthy ones. It is such painful to see him like this... I'm sure he himself also are uncomfortable with it.

Last but not least, I just want to say, no matter what, he is still my star! Stay strong and have faith Michael. God bless~

Praise God

It feels wonderful that I'm able to re-visit my blog today and do some updating after all these while..... Before I start typing away my thoughts for today, I would like to start firstly with a prayer to the al'mighty God who have been watching carefully upon me and my hubby from above.

Dear Father God, I may not always like how it feels when you are working on an area of my life, but I trust you completly. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Yeah, I've been very ill previously but now, under His guidance and care, I'm completely heal and I thank God for all that! :) It was wonderful to be able to feel healthy again (well at least you know you are not infected with any virus or bacteria).

Done with the one assignment, the second assignment started.... the baby! I must say I do feel a bit pressure on this assignment as I totally hv no experience what-so-ever on this! How to become pregnant that's another issue and how to get the gender of the baby that you want also another issue.... hhmmmm..... I know we must let the al'mighty God to bless us with the gift and we must have the patien for it to come to you.
