The Blessing of Peace

Psalms 29:11 - The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.
Have you ever had a day where the world is twisting and turning? Your household is in ruins, the children are screaming for attention and you have no time to do anything. Your mind will be in complete turmoil because everything around you is falling apart or if it has not, it is about to.

Did you know that in the midst of everything, the Lord could give you peace? The thousand thoughts going through your head will cease. You can be self-controlled and know what needs to be done first and what needs to be done last. The Lord will strengthen you and bless you with a day of order and complete peace. This kind of peace is not silence and quietness. This kind of peace passes all understanding.

Our God is a God of order and He is the one who brings peace, order and harmony to the home. This does not mean that your house has to be spotlessly clean at all times to the point where you can see your own face on the varnished floors. This does not mean that the children are to stay silent every moment of the day.

Even though the world is full of chaos, as part of the body of Christ, when you can find peace in the midst of it, it means that the heart is beating with the desire to serve the Lord and the feet are continuously moving to speed the gospel to others. It means the ears are listening and the eyes are ever seeing with preparedness and have the ability to see the advances of the enemy. Living in a household with many people can sometimes become very hectic, but if everyone is doing their jobs correctly and joyfully, there is order. When this can be accomplished, there is pure peace.

The opposite of peace is chaos. We step on each others toes, we accuse and judge and tear down. This kind of behavior builds walls, which, as scripture says, leads to "A house divided" which will fall. Yet even in the midst of chaos, you should be able find joy and peace like a river. If you look at a river, it has torrents and waves, but it is forever flowing. Look at the rocks, the rapids and the damns as the enemy attempts to trip you up. The rapids smash up against rocks and banks, yet still, peace flows.

If your day has started out in chaos, finish it with joy and peace. It can change in a heartbeat. Stop, pray and enjoy your day.

Confession:

This had happened to my hubby's side of family. All his mother ever do is to control their life and mainupulate the fact (i.e. gossip!) behind their backs. I feel for my hubby... I was sadden by how this small family can't even function together as a trusted family. There will be constant jealousy, back-stabbing and even qurrel among his parents and sibblings. This is because the parents are very indulge in their own materialistic world... The mother is crazy over power and fame, wherease the father is crazy over his own prono stuff in the www (!!!). This is the mian reason why a family will eventually break-up. There's no love. They are too consume by thier own greed in their heart and mind. This is sad but true.

I do worried that my hibby will repeating what his parents did to him. This is generally how it will affect the next generation because he has not been shown how to love & trust by his own parents. Because slowly recently, I started to see his parents' trend in him. He has become lazy, giving a lot of excuses, do not participate in his own family matters - all he will do is let his poor wife do everything! , complaining like his mother, selfish, and IGNORANT! I'm fearful that it will also affect our family (if we are going to start one). How deepress is this! I started to wonder why other people can have a happy and strong family bonding but not in my own family?? What's the reason for all these???? Why it is happeneing to me???

Prayers:
Dear Lord, I humbly ask you to give my hubby the strenght he needs to fight depression and anxiety in his poor mind & heart, please give comfort to his suffering soul and mind, lead him to the the path he needs to walk to find you Dear Jesus and to restore his love. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, hear my prayer to help my hubby to feel the love and graciousness that you have and that he comes out that depression and loses that anxiety and wards away the panic attacks. And that my hubby goes back to being a loving and happy person again spreading his cheer to everyone who will listen. In Jesus' Precious and Loving Name AMEN.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. ~Proverbs 3:5 - 6

Do not try to do anything in your own strength, because I can guarantee that you will break, but if you put your hope and trust in the Lord, He will give you His strength, which is joy to endure the hardships. Through His strength, you can trample down the wiles of the enemy. Let Him take control and enjoy the ride of your life.

The Lord is faithful. He being the Lord God Almighty will not let you go beyond what you can handle. All He asks is that you believe and trust Him. He will not leave your side.

The Lord provided manna for the children of Israel when they had no food. He poured forth water from a rock. Surely our God who gives and takes away can provide for you this day. Do not be discouraged by the bills that come flying in like a roaring lion. Do not be discouraged because your day has not or is not going the way that it was suppose to. The Lord is in control of you and I. He is the author and the finisher of our faith.
